I had a flight scheduled for Monday, March **, **** out of North Carolina to Denver, and then to Portland. Flight number ***. But they had an unexpected cancellation so I was asked to get off the plane and was handed a apology letter* with a couple options I chose option number two. Which mentions That I can be reinbursed up to $*** for a new flight and a $*** voucher send to my email. So I purchased what I thought was a ticket in the amount of $*** for Denver to Portland* through TripAdvisor! What ended up happening was I bought the wrong ticket it was out of the wrong airport and so I had to re-schedule a flight through American from the travel agency for the amount of $***.** nonstop from North Carolina to Portland at *:** pm. I ended up being at that airport in North Carolina all day. When I finally did get on my flight and ended up in Portland at **:** pm* my husband said* “you’re too tired I’m going to put you in a motel, and that $*** voucher, we can pay for the motel. * days ago* Friday, March *, ***** I received a check for the first flight I purchased* which was $*** for the ticket* I had purchased by accident. And I’m looking through my emails for $*** voucher* and I never received one. I apologize for all the confusion* I have only flew a handful of times and always with my husband!
