I would like to speak to an upper level manager or customer service representative about the mishandling of our cancelled flight on ********** from Las Vegas Nv to Denver Colorado. There was only one person handling all rebookings. There were many people in front of us. They then told us to go to the ticketing counter to re-book. Once arrived there and called to the counter nothing was available for us until Saturday morning. My family was traveling to Denver for family weekend at CSU with our daughter who attends there. There was no explanation of the reason for the cancellation. I asked for a printed explanation so that I could recover funds through an outside insurance company that I had paid for just for this purpose. I had heard many bad things about this airline. I booked more than a month out in good faith. Arrived early to our gate and felt like the handling of it was sub par and absolutely absurd. They kept telling us that they did not know the status until long after the crew walked away and the pilots. By that time a huge crowd was at the counter and rushed to get re-booked. Now after waiting around * more hours to tey to re-book with no avail and enduring rude ticket agents and then to be told earliest out is Saturday. Then to be told I would have to wait in a different line to wait for a supervisor to bring us the vouchers. Waited another hour till finally we asked a worker who just came up and asked us what we were waiting for? He then went to the counter and found vouchers that must have already been printed and were at the counter where the previous person said a supervisor needed to bring them. Of course now by this time no other flights from other carriers were even affordable to us at such a last minute notice. So...now we are unable to attend Family weekend at CSU with our daughter and now we will not be able to see her until Thanksgiving. This whole manner in which this was handled was absolutely unfortunate and unacceptable! I need to know who I can make my grievance heard. The only phone number is a recording and does not even have an option for "other" Absolutely deplorable.
