*was about to purchase a fitbit but been reading the reviews. This is one of them and thought I would send it to you. Many replied on the Facebook page about this comment and none were good. Are you guys coming out with a better product ***ATTENTION - ALL FITBIT WEARERS*****IMPORTANT INFORMATION!**Hi all, I just wanted to let you know about a huge Fitbit issue that may affect your weight loss * activity.**My Fitbit started tracking strangely about two weeks ago, logging activity when I’d done none and then logging zero minutes when I’d done several hours worth.**I contacted Fitbit who told me they’d reviewed my data and there was absolutely no defect. I insisted and continued to provide evidence and eventually, after much back and forth and an official complaint I got a replacement yesterday.**To see if I was right or wrong I wore one on each wrist to see if they would produce similar results. I never expected that one would record a whopping *** active minutes whilst the other recorded absolutely zero active minutes!!!**Also the new one recorded a *** calorie difference and *,*** step difference.**I sent the data to Fitbit who contacted me today to say there’s no defect based on that data! I find that extremely worrying.**In the interest of fairness I wore both fitbits today on the same wrist and lo and behold, I’ve just checked and already today they are showing a *** calorie difference and **** step difference (pics below). And that’s ON THE SAME WRIST.**I’ve just contacted Fitbit again as I believe there’s something seriously wrong with that. If you’re only aiming for *** calorie deficit to lose weight you could actually be gaining based on that, innocently eating food that you believe is within your calorie allowance.**Has anyone else experienced anything similar with their Fitbit? I’d be very interested to know so please share with other Fitbit users if you can and we can try and get to the bottom of this... thank you ****
