The issue in GetHuman-ilexpand's own words
This is the third strap with a broken clip since May ****. My husband gifted me an Alta HR in May, and by August the plastic housing*clip on the interior of the strap had broken while I was at home. I replaced the band with a Fitbit brand strap and by November the strap clip broke again - this time my device fell off in a grocery store and was unable to be found despite numerous attempts. Graciously he gifted me a new Alta HR for Christmas - and even splurged for the rose gold*lilac combo. But yet again the clip has cracked and the strap no longer stays attached to the device. This seems to be an ingrained design flaw. Are any of the bands manufactured with a studier metal clip instead of plastic? Are customers expected to purchase expensive bands twice a year and continually risk losing their devices?
GetHuman-ilexpand did not yet indicate what Fitbit should do to make this right.
