I have been a customer since *****perhaps ****. After I paid off my home here, I routinely maintained ** to **k in my accounts with your bank until I had to put most of my money on a new home last year. All this time I have had two retirement checks auto to your bank every month. Every thing was good until lately.Last year I bought that new home and sold the other in November. With the first home I had monthly dues auto withdrawn from my checking acct. With this background I want to inform you to two matters which I got the short end. **Late last year I called my bank to get a stop payment order on the auto draft of the mo. withdrawal of dues. I was told I couldn't do that, I said Its my account, Of course I can. So he asked me who should it pertain to. I gave him the name of the supervising firm that handled collecting those fees for the HOA, and his telephone and his email address. I was immediately charged a $** fee. I was not informed when or if they had sent it. When later I asked if it was sent, he said yes, but because there was a data error, it was not enforced. They would not return the fee for the same reason. They blamed me for the data error, But I gave him the info to get the correct info to stop that payment. They never called me period. I feel this was their fault and I should be reimbursed. **A second incident was my fault, but I feel that the bank should have given me a pass on. I had a new mortgage with quicken loans. Recently, I started sending extra principle on the autodraft mo. payment. To do this I have to go to the computer and add the extra principle. In early January I did this and had an option to set the time for payment. But, on Jan. **th, I put in the extra P, for the Feb. payment but couldnt find the place to set the payment date. So I called Quicken to ask that it go out on feb. *. She checked when the payment was scheduled and said it would go out then. It turns out they had two kinds of forms and she assumed I knew that and thought I was talking about the auto one.**Now my beef about the bank is that I had enough money in the bank to cover the amount to be paid, but you have a hold on any check from my auto payment to your bank for a few days. Given my ***% payment record over all these years , and the fact that enough money was there that you should have waived that $** overdraft fee.** One more quick thing, I called my local bank and talked with them. I was told to call CS *. I did but the auto phone asked for a pin* Which I did not have one. Called my local bank again and was told he could send such a * to my phone that would be good for one day. It never came. That made me wonder if he didn't want me to get through to CS. **So, I am hoping that you will see fit to order a reimbursement of those * fees. Thank you for your assistance.
