Both my husband and myself ordered from websites advertised on Facebook, only to find when the items arrived that it was a scam company sending out cheap rubbish instead of the advertised item. We are both elderly and cannot afford to lose a total of approximately £** between us. As these companies were advertised by facebook ( and actually turned out to be the same scam company with the address ...Undeliverable, PO box ****,Reading, RG* *ED)...we think facebook should be held responsible for not checking their advertisers thoroughly, and we want to put in a claim for a refund from facebook. I emailed the company ...in China... to complain and their reply was to post the item back for a refund. I was told by the post office not to waste my time as I would pay dearly to return it and never get the refund as they are known scammers. Please help as we are very upset and now feel very vulnerable. Thankyou. Mrs Y Williams.
