Today, I received an email that appeared to be from Facebook saying: Hi Paul, I got a notification about resetting my Facebook password. The password reset code is: [redacted] Alternatively, I can change my password directly. Change Password But, I did not request this. I clicked on "let us know" and emailed the supposed phishing email from Facebook, but I haven't heard back. I am uneasy and need to confirm if this email was really from Facebook. - PG

I uploaded a video on YouTube where I performed my song "City of Strangers" and shared it on Facebook. It was taken down by Facebook for violating their Community Standards. This is confusing as my song is an original piece registered with BMI through BMG/ Chrysalis Music. It contains no inappropriate content but rather celebrates themes of redemption. I am eager to understand why it was removed and would like it to be reinstated on my profile.

I attempted to set up a business page on Facebook but I'm having trouble accessing my usual account. I keep getting prompts to reset my password, and despite receiving multiple access codes, none of them are working. Strangely, my nationality on the account has now switched to Portuguese, resulting in everything showing up in Portuguese. I have set my language preference to English. I really need assistance to regain access to Facebook and specifically to use Facebook Gameroom.

I seem to have forgotten my Facebook password. When attempting to reset it, the system requests my email, which is not associated with my Facebook account. I am apprehensive to log out as I am currently logged in. Despite wanting to update my email information, it also requires my password for verification. Although my phone number is linked to the account, I am unable to locate an option to send a verification code to my phone. Each attempt prompts me to use email instead of my phone number. I kindly request to receive a reset code sent to my phone number at [redacted] as it is connected to my Facebook account.

I am the owner of a Facebook account and a Facebook sales group which were created by a former colleague. Recently, the password was changed mistakenly and my colleague cannot recall all the information used during the account setup, leading to the account being blocked. Despite reaching out to the Facebook support team multiple times and providing identification documents, no progress has been made. After serving 3 years and 7 months in prison, I recently got released and am trying to recover my Facebook account. Even though I remember my email and password, I can no longer access the email linked to my account. Facebook's options to confirm my identity haven't been successful. The "get help from friends" feature didn't work as I've lost contact with those friends. I also can't use the phone number associated with my account to receive a code. Despite submitting a picture of my State ID on February 2nd, I still can't access my account. It's possible that Facebook sent recovery instructions to my old email. If anyone has any suggestions, please share!

Hello GetaHuman, I would like to report an issue regarding the disabling of my Facebook account on December 30, [redacted]. My account was mistakenly reported for violating terms of service for a post involving a religious ceremony on Facebook.com/andriehvitimus/. Despite Facebook's later acknowledgment that the post was not in violation, my personal account tied to [redacted] at Facebook.com/Thomas.M.Seeber remains disabled with no access as of February 5, [redacted]. I have tried various means of contacting Facebook to rectify this issue without success. I am eager to regain access to my account.

My account was disabled, and it's my only account. I've completed all the necessary steps like uploading my ID, only to find out that Facebook has disabled my account. Why won't you respond to me? Do you enjoy seeing your clients upset? Please do something to restore my account. This is the 10th account I've had to create, and I'm fed up with Facebook's actions. Are you running a scam? Why do you disable accounts so quickly without proper review? My account name is Bunny Chirry, and I use +[redacted]25 to log in.

I recently created an account on FB a few days ago, but due to a mistake, my real name was changed to my email name, resulting in the account being disabled. I managed to get it reactivated the next day, but when I added my profile picture the following day, it was disabled again. I have sent multiple recovery requests and emails, but I have not received any responses. I've been struggling to access my Facebook account for months due to password issues. Facebook prompted me to change my password several times, suspecting a hack, and requested I verify my identity by recognizing friends in photos. Despite these efforts, I can't seem to recall my password amidst the changes. Unlike my Google account, which has remained stable, the code Facebook sent me for password reset did not work. After entering the 6-digit code, Facebook asks for a new password, yet it still insists the code is incorrect. This cycle is frustrating. I hope for a resolution.

I recently changed my Facebook password but unfortunately forgot it. I have tried to recover my account three times by obtaining codes from my trusted contacts successfully. However, after completing this step, I am notified that an email containing a link to reset my password has been sent to me, but I have not received it. I have my driving license and passport as forms of identification.

I am experiencing issues with my account and am seeking assistance. Recently, I have faced temporary blocks, which then led to a complete lockout from my account a few days ago. I attempted to recover the account; however, the registered phone number is outdated. While waiting for a new account to be approved, I created another one which got locked as well after sending friend requests. The reason provided was suspicious activity, although I have been using the platform the same way for nine years without issues. I reviewed the Community Standards and could not identify any violations. As a result, I have lost access to approximately [redacted] groups where I serve as an Admin. I require support to resolve this situation promptly.

I recently discovered a fraudulent debit on my business bank account. Unknown to me, a suspicious account was created and used to run ads under my name. After noticing an unusual login last week, I promptly changed my password. However, a sum of R941.77 was still deducted from my account. The unauthorized account by the name of Sberbank has been actively running ads on Instagram through my profile. This situation is troubling, and I urgently require assistance. The deducted amount belongs to one of my clients, and I am eager to resolve this issue promptly.

I recently reported some issues to the Facebook security team. I feel like I'm being unfairly targeted and suspended for what I believe to be speaking the truth, not hate speech. It's concerning that when Christians or Muslims have harassed me, it wasn't addressed, but I was punished for being the victim. It seems biased. I value my freedom of speech and feel censored for expressing opinions that are truthful but unpleasant for some. It appears that some violations are overlooked, possibly due to the background of the security team members. It's important for everyone, including those in security roles, to follow the rules and not discriminate based on race or nationality. It's essential to uphold community standards consistently.

Dear Sir, My friend's account got banned. He sent a video on WhatsApp and asked me to forward it to another ID because he was busy playing. His phone kept ringing persistently, so I sent the video to "lovely jaat ID," and my account got disabled. I didn't know that sharing that video would lead to bans on my city's Facebook accounts. Please help me, as I didn't realize this video would cause bans. I login to Facebook with different apps and bank accounts. Please assist me. I have never done this before. This is my second attempt in two days at creating an account. I may not be a tech-savvy individual at 70 years old, but I followed the sign-up process as best I could. After uploading my photo, which I must say doesn't showcase me in the best light, the system said it was undergoing security checks and I was locked out of my account. This same issue occurred two days ago, and today it displays that my account is closed. Therefore, I decided to try once more. If this is Facebook's idea of security measures, it seems inadequate if it takes them so long to distinguish between genuine users and suspicious ones. Best regards, Ruth H.
