I was trying to add a page a run on my profile. I was not finished setting up the page. I added some friends I knew and added my basic info. My account isn't even a day old SO REALLY WHY WOULD IT MATTER IF SOMEONE IS TRYING TO GET IN?? ... I just made a Facebook account for myself to help me with a business I'm building. I added a bunch of friends I know and started making a page for my business. On my profile I try to add what pages I run but Facebook annoyingly kicks me out saying "We've detected unusual activity with your account, submit a picture to prove its you". Are you kidding me? I just made my account. There are no pictures to compare it to! My only profile pic is from like * years ago! This was unbelievably frustrating and now I have to hault my work with my business. I am not generally one to become upset but how frustrating this has become is bewildering. My name is Aiden Thornton and I am CERTAIN nothing is wrong with my account. Facebook frustratingly kicked me out of my profile in the middle of creating a page to promote my business. I have already tried complaining once and it seems they sent me a reset password link to: *****@***.com. However, that can not fix the problem. My account isn't even a day old and has no pictures on it. Facebook says they require a photo for them to review to prove its me. This is extremely frustrating. There are no photos to compare it to so why even bother. I have made business cards, websites and everything and now I can't pay for ads on Facebook. In my opinion the picture proof thing is incredibly stupid because for *: It takes waaaay to long to evaluate, * Over half the time when an account is locked it's the real person trying to use it, not something or someone else, so that just makes it even more frustrating, * it could be extremely easy for anyone trying to get into someone elses account to get a picture of that person, A quick and simple text code or security question has just as much security to it and the person can get back in within seconds. Change your methods so you won't get as many complaints about this. Though the picture proof may be a last resort after the password reset and security questions, Letting Facebook itself instead of friends or family evaluate the picture is incredibly insensitive. I would be way less upset if I had more time to work on this but I don't. Extremely inconvenient.
I was in the middle of working. I have little other time to promote this. The resetong passwords does not work. Just hurry up and "Review my photo"
Letting me back into my account and NEVER doing this to me again. I could prove its me if you want some other way.
I have used Facebook alternatively on another account for entertainment purposes For over * years. I have spent over $*** towards Facebook.
