I booked a round trip on Expedia today. They took credit card etc and said they'd send itinerary to my email. Nothing. Went back to Expedia and they show no travel booked for us. So called American to rebook. American said DONT DO IT. And they found at least the first half of the booking bought and paid for but they can't issue the ticket..Only Expedia can. SO now what? Also seems probable that Expedia booked the second half of the trip on another airline. No idea who. Now I don't know what to do and no one at Expedia to help. I have the record number from American so can prove what I'm telling you. What a mess!!!!!!

I couldn't work with them so I simply (or not so simply) cancelled everything and stopped payment on my credit card.
