Reclamation and a refund request for unused ticket ... Dear Middle East Airlines “MEA”,**On September **th I missed my flight from Frankfurt (FRA) to Beirut (BEY) ( Ticket number: *************), then I called the Middle East Airlines hotline in Beirut and they asked me to cancle the check-in online in order not to lose my ticket, but I couldn't because it was only two hours before my flight. So the employee (in BEY airport) told me to buy a new ticket and that there is no way to get a refund for my ticket or to use it for the upcoming flights to Beirut and that I should wait ** hours for the next flight that is going to Beirut. So I booked a new ticket ( ticket number ************* ) through your mobile application, and during the check in, the Middle East Airlines employee in Frankfurt told me that my old Ticket ( ticket number *************) is still "open" and I can still use it for my round trip normally but I should pay ** $ extra for missing my flight. **Then he told me that he will cancle my new Ticket and to use my old Ticket for the round trip. And he told me to contact you in order to get a refund for that ticket because it wasn't my mistake, it was the employee's mistake working at the MEA in Beirut Rafic Hariri Airport.**So please I ask you to contact the middle east airlines to know more about this problem and to pay me a ticket-refund ( Gesamtpreis: ***,** € ).**I would be very thankful if I can get the refund.**Best Regards,*Ghazi Omairi
Full refund because it wasn’t my fault and the phone calls with the MEA employee was recorded when he told me That I lost My ticket and I should buy a new one
