GEt the color right ... My Epson printer XP-*** is printing my photos with a brown hue instead of a true color. How do I correct this?*Thanks,*Marian
They need to train their people better. I was on the phone over an hour with a woman that kept telling me to do this..do that..let's try this, and finally uninstalled my printer with the purpose of installing it again. But at that point we got disconnected and I was't about to call her back. My opinion is that she wasn't trained to do this, and when I asked her for another rep who might be more familiar with this model, she kept reassuring me that she knew. In fact, when we got disconnected, so did the printer and I had to call my "old" tech in Oregon to get it back online. Nothing was accomplished with my call except to leave me more frustrated than I was before.**I've had one earlier experience with an Epson cs tech when the earlier version of this printer, **********************************continued from the first remark. I had bought an XP-*** about a year before this one, and it spewed black ink all over my photo that I was printing. That rep was truthful and after a bit, told me he didn't know, but I could mail it back. I recycled that model and bought this one, the next one "up". I'm beginning to lose my faith in Epson printers AND their techs.****xp
For one, I don't want to be billed for this call, which I was for the last one.*Secondly, I'd like to be able to trust that if I buy another Epson, it's going to work well and if*when I do have a problem, I can call them and they will work it out with me.
I work with photos. Always have believed that Epson makes the best printers for photography. Every printer I've bought since **** has been an Epson and I was happy with them. But not these last two. I may have to reconsider and start purchasing another maker.
Yes, I called my "old" tech in Oregon and he helped me fix it remotely.*However, Wednesday night, I was printing a photo of Mt. Rainier from Paradise, and THIS one spewed black ink all over it! I haven't tried printing another photo. Maybe someone who KNOWS what's going on with it can call me and discuss the next step.*That would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to give up on Epson, but if their products are becoming sub-standard, I will.*Marian Gerard****-***-****
