This experience has increased my overall suspicion levels. 2. The website lacks detailed information from participants. As an older individual, I have noticed that many profiles seem generic, with everyone mentioning similar attributes and desires. The reliance on profile pictures and basic details like education is not sufficient. The interests section is too vague. 3. Profiles without pictures limit the choices. It would be helpful to have more criteria to refine matches in these cases. 4. The distance parameter needs to be more specific. Connecting with individuals from different states is not ideal for me. I suggest adding more detailed questions to gather specific information about users. It can be tiring to engage in repetitive phone conversations with individuals who all seem similar. Enforcing a more thorough screening process could improve the user experience on the site.

I encountered an issue with my payment through PayPal. I reached out to Élite customer service via chat and online support for assistance. I received a renewal offer via email at [redacted], but the link redirected me to a subscription at the full price of $60/month instead of the $15 promotion. After 2 hours, I revisited the link and it took me through a full registration process with questionnaires. I then used a new email address, [redacted], since the first one wasn't functional. Upon completing the process, the payment amount was four times higher than the promotional offer I had received on January 23, just before the January 24 deadline.

I started updating my profile but had to stop due to lacking recent pictures. I got new photos taken and tried to continue updating, but encountered errors when signing in multiple times. When attempting to start over or reset my password, I faced more errors. Thinking it might be related to my unpaid subscription, I paid for 3 months and still cannot access my account. I connected with a member recently on the Elitesingles platform. After a couple of days of chatting, we exchanged phone numbers. On February 20th, I spoke with him and he mentioned his aunt had passed away from COVID-19. The next day, February 21st, we briefly texted, and he mentioned having a fever and dry cough, hoping it wasn't COVID-19. Since then, I haven't been able to reach him despite leaving messages. I'm really worried about his health and safety. His name is Tommy from Noble, OK, and I'm Rachel Vallee from Ada, OK. I'm considering contacting the Noble Police Department to check on him as I can't get in touch. I just want to make sure he's okay.

Hello, I just wanted to double-check the cancellation of my subscription. My email is [redacted]. I cancelled my subscription, but it is still active, and now it says March 28. I want this to be the final day and have my account deleted after that. I can always do that part myself, but I need to avoid being charged and renewed repeatedly. I purchased a six-month subscription to EliteSingles.com around a week ago. Yesterday, on the last day of May, I encountered login issues. There is no installed app showing on my computer to remove and re-install. As of yesterday, I cannot log in. I receive an error message stating either an email or password error. My experience with Silver Singles has been disappointing. Despite requesting matches within [redacted] miles, the closest ones provided were 5-8 hours away. I feel like my $[redacted] was wasted. When I switched to Elite Singles, I noticed my profile and the website format were similar. I'm hesitant to spend another $[redacted] on Elite Singles if the service and matches are just as poor. Even though I requested partners under 68 years old and within [redacted] miles, many of my matches were over 68 years old and located [redacted]+ miles away. I'm curious if Silver Singles and Elite Singles are owned by the same company, as the quality of matches seems the same.

I closed my account in fall [redacted]. Today, I noticed a pending charge of $[redacted].96, and discovered Bank of America had been charging me every 3 months since March [redacted]. I never received any closure confirmation emails, leading me to believe the account was closed. I want a refund of the $[redacted] charge and to dispute the charges from [redacted] onwards as there has been no activity from either parties. I am willing to negotiate the refund amount, but ideally would like a full refund. Please close my account immediately. I canceled my membership nearly two months ago using the message screen, but no one responded to my request. I tried reaching out again two weeks ago, but still no luck. I have been trying to cancel since late last year as I knew my renewal was approaching. The website seems to have been updated, making it difficult to find the necessary information. I registered with EliteSingles on Friday, August 13, and by Tuesday, August 17, my account was hacked. Not checking it daily, I only discovered the breach on Friday, August 20, when the man I was conversing with was en route to see me. To our surprise, upon verifying my account, I observed all my photos and location had been altered. The situation became awkward because it appeared he might not be meeting the person he intended to. Despite wanting to cancel my account immediately, it was after hours, and I struggled all last week to reach EliteSingles, only finding a fax number. Finally, I came across this contact form today, needing it sent to me. I seek the deletion of my account and a refund, questioning why EliteSingles informed the men contacted through the compromised account but failed to notify me. EliteSingles should have addressed this instead of requiring me to initiate it. I was unable to access my account to submit this contact form. -Colleen

I am frustrated with the service I received. I had paid for 6 months of service and had to cancel after two weeks due to multiple issues. I have been trying to get a refund for the 5 1/2 months of unused service as well as for matches that did not meet my criteria, sometimes being outside of my specified distance and not matching my preferences. I encountered fake profiles seeking money and the service did not match what was advertised. If I cannot resolve this with the company, I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card. Despite positive reviews, I have had difficulty getting the service to correct the match settings and provide suitable matches.
