I purchased a can of your cream cheese frosting on ******** at Walmart in Butler, PA. The UPC code on the can is (*)***** ***** (*) and the sell by date is April **, ****. I also purchased a Duncan Hines spice cake, a can of pumpkin, a small instant vanilla pudding and a small bag of pecans, to make a pumpkin cake recipe I have. I made the cake, and when it was cooled, opened the sealed frosting and iced the cake and sprinkled on the chopped pecans. After the cake was iced, and I scraped a bit of the icing on my finger from the bottom of the can and tasted it, I discovered the oil or something in the frosting had gone rancid. It was horrible! I ended up throwing out the entire cake. The special ingredients I purchased totaled $**.** ($*.** cake* $*.** frosting* $.** pudding* $*.** pumpkin, $*.** pecans) and I had to throw them all in the trash and had no cake to take in to work for our dessert exchange, all because of the rancid icing. I'm very disappointed and would like some kind of refund for the loss of my ingredients. Thank you. Kathe Santillo
