Duncan Hines Customer Service Issues

I was surprised to find that the cake mix I purchased resulted in a much shorter cake. Upon further inspection, I realized that the box appeared smaller than usual. After researching online, I discovered that the product size had indeed been reduced. I am upset by this unexpected change and the fact that my cake did not turn out as expected. I have been a loyal user of Duncan Hines for 40 years and even used to make wedding cakes that received high praise. While I no longer bake professionally, I planned to make a birthday cake for my granddaughter and was disappointed by the outcome. I preferred your previous Angel Food cake mix over the current one. The old two-step formula always resulted in a high rising cake that tasted homemade. The new one-step formula has a chemical taste to me, possibly from baking powder. I have tried it a few times but do not enjoy it. I wonder why you changed the mix and if you plan to bring back the old version. I would be willing to pay more for the original mix as I found it superior.

I recently bought a box of Duncan Hines Double Fudge Brownie Mix, but unfortunately, the fudge packet was missing from the box. As a result, I ended up with just regular brownies instead of the double fudge version. The instructions clearly stated the need for the fudge packet before adding it to the dry mix, but it was nowhere to be found.
