as soon as i placed my order, it was “en route” and i was unable to cancel. i recieved an almost immediate text message asking me to send this unknown number a photo of my license front and back. i’ve never heard of anything more shady. why would any person with a brain do this? then, this delivery person proceeds to message me again despite me telling him to cancel the order three times, saying he has arrived. i go downstairs only to find he is not in fact there and when i tell him so, he tells me to have a nice day. what the ****? i’d like a full refund for this ridiculous experience. there is no reason for him to keep calling me sir, or to require a photo of my id, a simple check of my birthday listed on my id upon arrival is sufficient. given this experience, i don’t think i’ll ever be using drizly again, or be a patron of universal liquors. i’m shocked this is business practice.
