The issue in GetHuman-luizaed's own words
I am a doordash merchant. I called doordash after receiving the order to let you know that the order will require an additional ** minutes. The doordash rep told me they would communicate this to the dasher and customer. The doordash driver arrived a few minutes later, and I explained to him that the order was not ready and I had contacted doordash to let them know. He got very upset and started giving attitude. He proceeded to go wait in his car. He returned a few minutes later asking to get a soda, and I pointed at the soda machine fridge. When the order was ready, I proceeded to charge him for the soda, and he got very upset and said he wouldn't pay for the drink, because he had to wait for the order and was not paid from doordash for the wait period. He did not pay, and left the restaurant with an attitude and was completely unprofessional. He was rude and disrespectful the entire time he was there, and had a sense of entitlement attitude, because he had to wait. Very bad experience with him and I wouldn't recommend him to do pickups at any merchant.
