After a ** minute hold on a phone order attempt with no sign of getting some one to place a order, I went to the store for a walk in order.*I am a vegetarian, and ordered * large Pizzas and a garlic bread order.*I wanted on one half of both the pizzas, Jalapeno and pine apple topping with the other half being other vegetables.*When the order was ready to pick, I opened to check and found that the one half meant to be Jalapenos and pine apple was made as Ham and Pine apple. I brought this to the attention and after checking my order accepted the error and offered to rectify. At first he offered to give a medium pizza to fix the error on * large pizza half and later realized that a large one was the right thing to take care of * halfs.*I was hoping that he would make a brand new pizza but said you can use the good half from each of the two (that had the right toppings and will offer a replacement large to fix the error. I was not in favor of it and he said you can discard it etc…*Reluctantly I agreed and when I took it home to the surprise of my guests and my family we were turned off by the meat in the same pizza and even after discarding the bad half the smell of the meat was so overwhelming we decided to discard the entire thing. As I said before, we are vegetarians and even though there may have been no meat on the other half being in a closed box the smell of meat was overwhelming and had to do what we did. At this point I was not ready to go back to the store and rehash the issue after a ** minute wait due to the goof up.*Instead of dealing with the store, I decided to raise this through your portal for what it is worth. I am a regular Domino’s customer and this was a bad experience and annoyance with hungry guests waiting for dinner.*My feeling is that in the first place the offer to remake the new one should have been in its entirety with a new make rather than salvaging the half as proposed by the store clerk. On hind sight I should have pushed for a remake and wanted to be a nice customer and not attract the attention of others in the store.*At the end of the day lot of wasted time, money and annoyance and disappointment and a lost $**.**.
