I have been a customer at dollar tree store **** i think is the * in navarre fl for a little over a year. The old store manager was always friendly and polite to customers and towards his employees. On the last * visits both in the same week, there is a new store manager by the name of zeena? Not sure on spelling and I have overheard her yelling more like a drill sergant ordering orders and verbally abusing the cashiers. I havr heard such comments like "get to your register" and the cashier was in an isle putting items away where they belong part of doing her job and I have overheard her say to a cashier when asking a questiom on why they have to do something a certain way when it was not previously done she said in a yelling mean tone because "Im the store manager until jeff comes back and thats what I want. " i do not believe a manager should be talking to employees this way. I also overheard a phone conversation where she was yelling at someone trying to call apparently say "why didnt you tell me sooner everyone gets * days off". I have also heard from the cashiers that she does not care about their availabilites and purposely schedules the non favorites for hours they cannot work. With dollar tree a part time employer with * hour shifts this is not the rent maker for most employees. The cashier in general has been there almost * years from what i have gathered and is scared of her and fears going to work. She also used to have a therapy dog come with her and she is no longer allowed that. We are a small town and alot of us bring stuff for the dog when we come. We come to the store when she works just to see her and her dog. There are laws for this but this manager is showing an abuse of power in public and does not care that she is humiliating cashiers in front of customers. If corrective action is not taken I will see about contacting the department of human services for abuse of adults and the department of labor to see what legal action can be taken to ensure the rights of the employees and about reporting abuse charges by this zeena person. If I wasnt concerned about the cashiers I would simply shop in another store, but I will continue to shop here so I can see if anything has changed in the next few weeks so I know if I have to go ahead and file a complaint with the said authorities. **Thank you
