I was simply trying to style my hair. ... From **** until just about a week ago I have been using a hair gel that I purchased in your stores. In **** I began experiencing shortness of breath and a severe, hacking, uncontrollable cough. In **** I developed a rash on my right hand for much of the year and in Feb. of **** that rash increased to maximum severity and covered both my right and left hands for several months of this year and has scarred my hands. I went to a lung Dr. and a dermatologist for these problems. After getting a biopsy that also caused scarring in addition to the original product I purchased at Dollar Tree, the dermatologist said it is something I am coming into contact with that is causing this and the rash is contact dermatitis. After researching & eliminating other products, I researched the ingredients in the hair gel widely sold in your stores, the problems caused by these ingredients match the respiratory and skin problems that I have suffered for nearly * years from your hair gel. I want to know what Dollar Tree will do to right this wrong.
This is frustrating and frightening because a HAIR GEL has caused me health problems and physical scars because Dollar Tree is selling a product that has ingredients that are well known to cause respiratory and skin problems that have no place in a grooming or personal care product.
Dollar Tree can make this right by at a minimum reimbursing me for my medical care and the scarring on my hands caused by their product.
I have been a customer for a minimum of *** years.
I have tried using their website to contact them using the help button that is absolutely buried so customers cannot find it and even after filling out the two forms within that, it refuses to submit from any browser or computer. I call their office and am put on hold until I hang up (after waiting more than ** minutes) or they hang up on me. I never knew that this is how Dollar Tree operates. I am beyond angry and want to be contacted immediately about the health problems and scarring their product caused me.
