Box **-*****Auburn Mills, MI *****-*******Re: ***** Dodge Durango Citadel*VIN *C*RDJEG*CC*********Dear Sir or Madam***We have always been a Dodge*Chrysler family. Ove the past ** years, we have owned a Dodge Ram, * Dodge Caravans, * Dodge Durango’s and a Chrysler Town and Country. We have always loved these vehicles, and we have always been loyal consumers to Dodge*Chrysler. We currently own a **** Dodge Durango Citadel, and we truly love it! On May *, ****, we purchased the **** Dodge Durango Citadel from Sterling Heights Dodge in Sterling Heights, Michigan. We live in Chesterton, Indiana. When we picked up the Durango, the dealer had disclosed that the air conditioner did not work properly and provided us with a * month, *,*** mile warranty to cover the repair. **We drove the Durango home and made an appointment for the repair at Bosak Dodge in Merrillville, Indiana, per the warranty department’s suggestion. On May **, ****, we dropped off our Durango to have the AC Condenser replaced. We picked up the vehicle that evening. After arriving home, we noticed that the front bumper and grille were loose and that the panel retainers were also missing from the underbody shield. The technician(s) who worked on our vehicle had taken removed what they needed from the engine, but did not properly reinstall*replace what they removed! At the very best, we considered this repair*replacement a very shady job. We remember commenting that if they could not adequately reinstall*replace what they removed, how could we trust that the replacement of the AC compressor was done properly and how long would it last. It truly was pretty terrible repair job. We had to return to Bosak again, two days later to have them correct their inadequate repair work. Needless to say, we do not plan on returning to this service dealer again.**About a month ago, the AC in the Durango began to hiss when it was turned on. We knew immediately that it was related to the faulty AC compressor that was not properly repaired*replaced two summers prior. Please note that the AC compressor is only used seasonally. We took our Durango to Jack Connors Dodge in Chesterton, Indiana, to have them provide us with an official diagnosis. Surprise, surprise, the AC compressor needs to be replaced AGAIN! Please understand, we understand that there are normal wear and tear repairs that need to be made on vehicles, but we do not understand why we are liable for this repair that was supposedly adequately replaced a mere two summers ago. *We feel would really appreciate it if this repair would fall under a warranty umbrella based on the theory that we had it fixed once while it was under warranty, and either it was not replaced properly or that the compressor was faulty. Please note that it the new compressor has only been used for two summers. Bosak Dodge should feel confident enough in their repair*replacement services that the AC compressor repair*replacement should be unconditionally guaranteed.**We are quite frustrated that we had to waste so much time at the Bosak service department in Merrillville, Indiana, in May, ****, and we are even more disappointed that we have to spend time ironing out their faulty repair work two summers later.*Any advice and or direction from your department will be so very appreciated.***Thank you from your Dodge family,****Kimberly and Joseph Maggio **** E.
