My clock consistently displays incorrect time and resets autonomously. It also struggles to tune in to the particular radio station I listen to. Despite communicating these issues to the associates, my concerns were not resolved, resulting in my account running out without successfully programming it. The owner seems disinterested in rectifying the situation; however, the diligent staff are attempting to assist. It appears that after receiving payment, the owner distanced himself from the problem. Disappointingly, there is a lack of accountability for the misinformation provided by the owner and staff. The negligence in addressing the staff's errors to fix the problem is concerning. This experience has prompted me to share negative feedback about the establishment in my small community.

I purchased my Dodge Durango in July [redacted], which was manufactured in [redacted] and currently has 25,[redacted] miles. The central back lantern has started to crack due to a manufacturing defect. I have never been in an accident. I kindly request that the lantern be exchanged under the factory warranty. My car is available for inspection. If there had been an accident, I would have used my insurance instead of the factory warranty.
I visited another dealer and felt discriminated against by the company manager, Mr. Tom Tempesta at Greenway Dodge in Orlando. He displayed a very unprofessional attitude. I will be reporting his behavior to the Dodge USA Customer Service.
Thank you for your attention.

When the truck is at 60% fuel, everything seems normal with the boost at 3 pounds, but once it reaches 65% fuel, it loses boost. Additionally, at 70% fuel, the truck stalls out. This issue has led to the truck being at Walnut Creek Dodge for three weeks. Despite them replacing the DPF and planning to install a new turbo, other technicians and Dodge senior technicians believe it's not a turbo problem. I've already spent $[redacted] trying to fix this issue.

I am disappointed with my recent purchase of a [redacted] RAM [redacted]. The automatic shifter being next to the blower control has caused me some issues. I have inadvertently shifted into Park twice, once at 70 mph and today at 30 mph. This design flaw is concerning for safety, and I think those responsible for approving it should reconsider. As a loyal customer who has bought multiple vehicles from the company, I find this experience nerve-wracking. The engine's response when shifting into Park is unsettling, and I worry about potential long-term damage. Considering trading it in for a less stressful vehicle, even though I will take a financial hit. I hope my feedback is taken into account for future designs, as having the shifter next to the blower control is causing unnecessary anxiety. Thank you for your time.

I am looking to remove the Catalytic Converter for testing purposes.
I have researched various forums before posting my inquiry.
I understand the environmental impact of removing the converter, as discussions about this topic are filled with criticism.
The removal is only temporary as I need to install test pipes to assess the blockage in my passenger side catalytic converter. I am experiencing a code and need to investigate.
I have a couple of concise questions.
Will the car function with the converters removed, or will it go into limp mode like some vehicles?
Apart from the expected changes in noise and MPG, are there any other potential issues with running the car without the converters? I do not intend to make this change permanent, so no tuning or sensor deactivations will be done. I am unconcerned about a check engine light, so I will not be using anti-foulers.
I am solely removing the converters for testing purposes and not for emissions or legal reasons. This will be a temporary situation to identify the current condition of my converter without significant expenses. Thank you for your assistance in advance!

To Dodge/Mopar/Chrysler/Jeep Automotive:
I am writing to share my recent experience at your store, Dodge Sherman in Skokie IL. On June 14, [redacted], during the evening, I encountered very poor customer service which has led me to reconsider my loyalty to the “Dodge family”.
While seeking assistance, an associate displayed dismissive behavior and failed to follow through with their commitment to help me with a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. Despite my patience, the service was lacking and unprofessional.
After a frustrating wait, I tried to seek help from another associate, who identified as the sales Manager, but was met with rude and unhelpful responses, eventually being told to take my business elsewhere.
This experience was unlike any I have encountered at Dodge before, leaving me disappointed and unable to complete my purchase. I hope to address this matter promptly and can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Jean C. Diaz

I visited Brookfield Dodge Inn in Benton Harbor, Michigan last fall when my new Scat Pack Dodge Charger had around 3,[redacted] miles. Since 2,[redacted] miles, I have been hearing brake squeaking. After driving for another 1,[redacted] miles hoping it would resolve on its own, I took it to the dealership. They advised me to give it more time due to the newness of the car. During winter, I didn’t drive the car, and now it has 6,[redacted] miles. I started driving it again in late February and contacted the dealership a couple of weeks ago, but did not receive a call back before my warranty expired. Today, they mentioned they couldn't assist since the car is no longer under warranty. Despite being under the mileage limit, I am slightly past the one-year mark of owning the vehicle. I seek coverage for the brakes, wanting to address this persistent issue without incurring costs. As a loyal customer with a leased vehicle, I hope for assistance and prompt resolution. I am willing to take the time now to address this matter if covered. Please respond to my email at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I own a [redacted] Dodge Challenger with 80,[redacted] miles and I am uncertain about the current warranties on my vehicle. I have printed out two warranty documents, and they both display varying timelines. Despite my local dealer informing me that I have no warranty, upon reviewing the documents, it seems that my powertrain warranty may still be valid as my transmission is not functioning correctly. Additionally, the dealer indicated issues with the differential, brakes, rotors, and water pump, but I believe these may be covered under a different warranty called the Mopar Lifetime Limited Warranty. There is also a persistent seatbelt light issue. Could someone advise me on how to confirm if any of these components are covered by a warranty?

I purchased a [redacted] Dodge Journey on December 13, [redacted] from Chudds in Gimli, Manitoba. When I received the safety papers, they indicated that the windshield wipers needed replacement. After noticing a bouncy ride, I had an independent safety inspection done in January [redacted]. It was found that the vehicle needed a rear upper control arm, bushings, and front struts. After informing Chudds, they agreed to repair the issues. However, upon receiving the car back, it was still bouncy while driving. When I contacted them, they claimed to have replaced some parts but not all that were required. Despite numerous attempts to address this and another unresolved issue, my calls have gone unanswered. I am feeling very frustrated with the situation and would appreciate speaking with someone to resolve these issues promptly.

I bought my first Dodge product three weeks ago. Concerned about the spare tire, I asked the salesman to order one, but I haven't received clear information. I feel let down by the dealer. Last week, while at the hospital with my father making a tough decision about my mother, I discovered a flat tire in the parking lot. Roadside assistance only offered a tow, not a repair. The service was unhelpful and doesn't reflect well on Dodge. I need effective roadside assistance and the correct part numbers for a spare tire and winch for my [redacted] Dodge Caravan 2C4RDGBG7JR147986.

I was driving my Dodge Caliber [redacted] diesel with a manual transmission when the ESP/BAS and ETC lights came on simultaneously. The car started moving very slowly even when I floored the throttle, eventually stopping on a slope. My local mechanic could not find a fault initially but suggested replacing the accelerator pedal. After replacing and reprogramming it, I experienced the same issue after driving for about 30 minutes. I am frustrated by this ongoing problem. I am located in Africa (Cameroon) and would appreciate any assistance.

I previously contacted corporate regarding the service adviser's feedback on my brakes. Despite their insistence that I was being too gentle, the brakes were squeaking. Despite multiple visits, the mechanic claimed no issue. After learning about the warranty, I returned for brake replacements. However, shortly after, a noise emerged when braking, escalating to a loud squeak. Upon inspection, I noticed marks on the rotor, suggesting installation errors. This recurring problem is unique among my Dodge and Chrysler-owning friends, frustrating as I paid a significant amount for the car upfront.

Hello, my name is Narvell Mitchell. I recently purchased a Ram [redacted] from South Fork Dodge in Pearland, TX. I bought the vehicle there because my son lives nearby and assisted me. The dealership was helpful in locating the specific vehicle I wanted and I qualified for Chrysler credit. The pricing provided was fair, and I completed the purchase including tax, title, and license. However, upon trying to pick up my license plate at the title office in Mississippi, I was unexpectedly charged $[redacted]. I believe I should have been informed about these additional fees beforehand as part of fair business practice. Despite having to pay for the license plate, the dealership poorly communicated any extra costs and only expressed apologies without offering any compensation. As a customer and a businessperson myself, I find this lack of transparency concerning. This is my first time buying a Chrysler product as I have previously purchased GM vehicles. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I believe that someone higher up should be made aware of this issue.
Sincerely,
Nacelle Mitchell

In [redacted], my [redacted] mega cab has a leaking roof in the right rear corner of the headliner, causing a moldy smell. The dealer mentioned that the leak is from the aftermarket light above the back window. However, it seems likely that the light was replaced due to a previous leak issue known to Dodge. Despite being past the 40,[redacted]-mile warranty, water is also collecting in the front passenger door, leading to mold on the headliner. Additionally, the door locks are starting to fail. It's concerning that this widespread problem has not triggered a recall, as many Dodge truck owners are experiencing similar leaks. During a recent visit for a recall issue, the dealer mentioned an ammonia smell coming from the exhaust, requiring a pump change. This repeated inconvenience is diminishing my pride in owning a Dodge truck.

My [redacted] Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, 4 x 2 with under 90,[redacted] miles is having issues with the ignition. When I insert the key, it doesn't turn over, just beeps. The steering wheel is locked, and the remote functions for the doors and panic button don't work. Additionally, the passenger side window won't roll up, so I had to use Scotch tape. It's frustrating that Dodge hasn't been responsive with assistance.

My wife has a [redacted] Dodge Grand Caravan R/T and recently had issues with the alternator. We took the van to Northern Prairie Auto Sales in Wolf Point Montana for repair under our lifetime warranty. The repair took longer than expected. After completion, my wife received a review form and gave a negative review to the service manager. Now the van won't start, and when I contacted Baron, the Service manager, he mentioned receiving a letter from Dodge Corporation regarding the review. It's concerning that negative feedback impacts their willingness to service our vehicle again. Feedback should be used to enhance customer service, not deter it. The unprofessional response from the company is disappointing, especially given the costs involved. If we can't bring the van back to this shop, we may have to go elsewhere for repairs. I'm seeking clarification on corporate policy regarding handling such situations and wish to avoid future deductible charges. Professionalism is essential in customer service, and I hope the issue with Baron can be resolved promptly.

Hello, I have a [redacted] Ram [redacted] with 63,[redacted] miles, my first Dodge vehicle. Lately, I've experienced multiple issues, with the most recent being significant. Carson Dodge Jeep in NV diagnosed the problem as the TIPM and the Main Onboard Computer. It's unsettling to encounter both major electrical issues simultaneously at such an early stage in the truck's life, a common occurrence with Dodge Trucks, it seems. I'm quite displeased with this situation and am requesting Dodge cover all repair costs and provide a rental car during the repair period. I prefer to have the repairs done at Neuwirth Dodge in Wilmington NC. Could you please issue an authorization number for parts, service, and a rental? Thank you.

On Monday, August 13, [redacted], I had to have my [redacted] Dodge Avenger towed to the Heritage Dodge Dealership because the engine service indicator light was on, and the VIN is [redacted]. The Service Tech mentioned that a long-term oil leakage issue was affecting the crankshaft sensor and other sensors. I am worried about whether this repair is related to any technical service bulletins regarding the crankshaft sensor connectors and if oil leakage is a common problem among Dodge Avenger owners. I have the following concerns:
1. Will the manufacturer cover the repair costs?
2. Is part replacement the most suitable solution?
3. Should I consider replacing the engine due to the oil leak?
Please reply with more information. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Joyce G. I have been a loyal Dodge customer for 60 years. I have had my car repaired many times without any issues. In August, I contacted the Dodge Dealership in Woodbridge, VA regarding fixing my car. Doug was the person I dealt with. Before he fixed my car, I specifically requested to have the part he took off (fuel pump) returned to me once the car was repaired. Despite his assurance, when I went to pick up my car, the part was not returned to me. I am extremely upset about this. I paid the amount they charged me, but they did not fulfill their promise of returning the part. Doug only offered apologies which do not satisfy me. At 84 years old, I feel exploited in this situation. I want someone to address this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention. Kindly resolve this matter in a fair manner.

Dear forum members,
I am reaching out for assistance regarding my [redacted] Dodge Caravan. Unfortunately, my air conditioner stopped working recently, even though I had a warranty that has since expired. With my husband's health challenges, it is crucial for me to have a functioning A/C in the car. I have been loyal to Dodge Caravans for 25 years, and this unexpected expense is quite a burden given our current situation. I kindly request Dodge's support in fixing the issue, as I am unable to afford the repair costs on my own. I truly appreciate your help with this matter and hope to resolve it promptly.
Thank you,
Nita L.
