Stop fraudulent charges from sending my finances in a downward spiral. ... On August *,****, I called Direct Express to make sure my check had been deposited. It had, but the amount of monies available wasn't correct. I immediatly called to see what was up. I had listened to my transactions on the recording and there were two charges for $**.** & $**.**. **I informed DE that I wanted to dispute both of them at that time. I was informed that they were "pending" transactions and that I needed to call back in a couple of days. To make sure that the transactions had gone through. ( Seems to me that a whole lot of headaches could have been avoided by cancelling a pending transaction ) **I called back on ********, I believe. and again requested the two amounts be disputed. At that time they cancelled my card and sent me out another. They also were to send me out a fraud packet. I also requested the vendor(s) phone numbers so I could contact them and *request my money back also.**I phoned both of the vendors. That was a nightmare in itself. *Every phone call was like a three ring circus. I was told I had the wrong dept* wrong person, wrong phone number, and was then given a fifth number to call. This was basically repeated by the other vendor also. Trying to get ahold of a customer service rep at Direct Express was equally miserable.**I recieved the packet on *********. I was filled out and hand carried to the post office the same day. I was given case number I-**********. While waiting for a response, I continued to try and reach the correct desk any person at the vendors that would answer to no avail. **I didn't hear anything from D E for quite awhile. I called repeatedly checking on the status. I was told to keep calling back weekly. On *********, I recieved a letter denying my request on the grounds that I had entered into an agreement with the merchants. I did request * trial product at $*,**. Was sent out a second product for $*.** not knowing I was getting it. I figured OK, I could afford the second one it wasn't that expensive.. **I was shocked beyond belief when I found out I had been charged the following month for a total of $***.**. I didn't authorize either one not did I sign up for a monthly subscription for these procucts. *And to make things even worse, I didn't even get the stuff they cbarged me for. And Direct Express was made aware of that fact.**I am a disabled woman who is trying to make ends meet. Sure ordering the trial samples was extravagent. Reading the small print, which did not include anythig whatsoever, about a monthly subscription, I thought I was treating myself. HA HA on me. **I would just like to recoup the monies that was stolen from me. The amount that was taken is *** of my income. and it hurts. **On **********, I sent a written letter to Direct Express, wanting to appeal the **** decision and how to go about it. As of **********, I have recieved no answer from them. At that time, I also requested copies of the documents on which they based their determination on. By getting my money back from these vultures and somehow red flagging these companies so other people won't get taken like I have.
Since about ****
After repeatedly calling the merchants, and being sent on a lousy amusement ride. I have exhausted not only my will but my voice to these cyber robbers.
