Account *: **********Receiver History – HR****** *ID: **** **** *****. Installed *******.********* – Problems first exhibited. Your technical staff did not recognize the error codes and after much investigation, agent Jody *ID JQ***D* said I needed a new receiver. She offered a ‘Genie’, however, she said that I would be required to stay with Direct TV for * years and pay a $** installation fee. After consultation with her manager, she returned and said the fee would be waived.********* – At *:** pm *EDST* you sent an Email *order Confirmation Number: ********** specifying an additional fee and a new Programming Commitment of ** months.********* – I called at *:** PM *EDST* and spoke with Jason**ID *******. I explained that I simply wanted a working receiver – nothing fancier – but since nobody would guarantee that the new receiver would solve the problem, I refused to blindly guarantee you another year’s commitment. However, I have been a customer since **** and I will remain so as long Direct TV provides the service for which I am now paying.* *Jason consulted someone and returned saying to “Disregard everything - no new contract, no additional charges. New receiver will cure Guide*recording problems.” Call transferred to Carlos *ID CJ***J, Installation* who said “We’ll call as soon as we can schedule an appointment.” No one called since May.********** – Receiver failed completely. *:** PM *EST* – spoke with Kat who claimed to have no previous records and was completely unresponsive* line went dead.**********. Spoke with Ms. Hart who scheduled the ******* installation. Later that day, the an Email arrived reversing Jason’s previous commitment, which I repeat here: No new contract, no additional charges.*Provide the service for which you are being paid or I will go elsewhere.*Ellis Serdikoff
