Cancel my service, pay remaining balance. ... I called ATT*Direct TV on ****** to notify that I was moving to another city in Georgia and wanted to transfer my ATT internet* Direct TV service. Was told ATT internet was not offered in my new location so it was terminated at no cost. The customer service rep named Care told me it would be ***.** to transfer Direct TV service. I asked that fee to be waived to keep me as a customer. Your company declined even after I explained you would make more money during the remaining * month contract (ending on January **, ****)with me by KEEPING ME as a customer and Care agreed with me. The difference would be my regular payment of **.** a month and your cancellation fee of **.** a month. (**.** X * * ***.**) (**.** x * * ***.**) Obviously, you would have made ***.** more off me in * months and I WOULD STILL BE YOUR CUSTOMER AND PAYING YOU **.** OR MORE ! But, you declined so I cancelled my service on *-*-** and was told the service would terminate on ******. Since that time I have received both statements AND a refund from your company for **.** that was an overcharge. I have been assured I do not owe this amount and to disreguard any billing statements indicating otherwise. I have kept each document your company has sent and can provide it at any time. At this point your company is threatening to turn me over to a collection agency for **.**. I have requested assistance in this matter each time I received mail from your company, even on the occasion I received a gift card from you for **.** for the refund ! I will, of course, never use your company again for any services to include internet should it be offered in my new location, cellular or associated companies - particularly Direct TV. Nor do I encourage anyone else to use your services. I do, however, expect your to reach out to me and address this issue. It's been explained to me my ATT Internet account * is ********* and my Direct TV account * is ********. My name is Kimberly Smith.
The company has sent billing statements AND a refund for **.** after assuring me repeatedly I do NOT owe this amount which was was an overcharge to start with.
I want you to NOT turn me over to a collection agency as recently threatened and correct your $**.** error once and for all.
I paid my bill on time EVERY TIME.
I have only been in touch with your company by phone no less than * times about this matter. With no resolution.
