We are sorry to hear about the extra address appearing on your account. However, it's important to note that Credit Karma doesn't create any data but only displays the information we receive from TransUnion and Equifax, the credit bureaus. If an unfamiliar address is appearing on your Credit Karma account, it could be due to an error in the reporting from these credit bureaus. We recommend you to dispute these inaccuracies directly with the credit bureau that's showing this incorrect address. It's important to keep your personal information accurate to protect against any potential identity theft or fraud.

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulty verifying your identity on Credit Karma. Be sure all information entered is correct, your ID is clearly visible, and the photo is not blurry or too dark. Ensure you are using compatible devices and browsers to take and upload your photo. If you've followed these steps and are still unsuccessful, this might be a technical issue on our side, and we advise you to try again later. Please note, occasional problems can occur that prevent successful verification, but this does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your information or identity.

This can happen due to a variety of reasons, but it's not typically a direct result of decreasing your card balance. Your credit score considers several different aspects of your financial habits, like payment history, credit age, and credit utilization. Sometimes, a drop in your score after paying off a balance could be related to changes in other areas of your credit profile that might have coincidentally occurred at the same time. It's also possible there could be an error or delay in the reporting of your updated balance. Remember, maintaining low card balances and making on-time payments are key to gradually building and maintaining a positive credit score.

We understand that it's frustrating when you can't link your new phone number to your account because it's already in use. Credit Karma needs to secure your account, so it doesn’t allow a phone number to be linked to more than one account. If you believe this is an error, it's critical to ensure you've correctly entered your new number and are not trying to use a number previously linked to a different Credit Karma account. If the issue persists, unfortunately, you'll need to use a different phone number. Remember, your security is our primary concern.

To change your mailing address on Credit Karma, first log into your account. Click on your profile name on the top right and select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu. Under my profile section, select 'Personal Information'. From there, you can edit your personal information details including your mailing address. Remember to save the changes to update your information. Note: Changing your address won't affect your credit, and Credit Karma does not share your address with third parties for their marketing purposes.
