Need help with verifying my account.

My friend told me to go to Craigslist.com. On then left side , of that page , under "create a posting", it says "my account". I did not know I had to press it, to get somewhere else, in this site. She said to press on that. It immediately pulls up the Log In form. I filled it out and when it came to the password, I chose the second one I had, since I had two. It immediately gave me the Craigslist Terms of Use. So I guess I know that I have an account now. I have not accepted or declined them. I just wanted to find out if I had an account and what the password was. If they had a **** telephone number to answer my questions, I would not have had to spend five hours on the computer,not knowing what the heck I am doing, or was suppose to do and get more frustrated. I could have been doing other things for those five hours. I can not see this helping anyone, unless you are not literate in computers, as I am and don't know what to press, on the screens.
