Help with my Cox Communications issue

I am trying to lower my bill to the quote the sales representative gave to me. ... About * weeks ago, I tweaked my service to eliminate the sports package and add TCM. The sales rep quoted me a price of around ***. Now, that was verbal contract, which requires an offer, acceptance, consideration, and a mutual intent to be bound. Those conditions were met. And, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, oral contracts are enforceable unless they conflict with the Virginia Statue of Frauds. Oral contracts are valid, lawfully-binding contracts. THUS, written or not, a contract was made and the price agreed upon. **HOWEVER, Cox is breaking that contract and billing me $****month., which is not what I agreed to or am contractually obliged to pay. In addition, I consider this a bait-and-switch tactic, a form of fraud where customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price, only to discover the advertised goods or services are not available, or customers are pressured by sales people to consider similar, but higher priced items ("switching").**I want the services I contracted, by RECORDED statement at the price I was quoted. I will accept nothing less. And, I fully plan to take legal action as well as contacting ** on Your Side with this issue if you do not take care of this problem.
They are not taking the problem seriously or making ANY EFFORT to resolve it. They just want to charge me more than $$*** more than was originally quoted.
I want to be charged what the sales representative quoted to me.
I pay my bills on time.
I've tried talking to several people on the phone. No use. Repetitive robots who cannot vary from the "script." Cannot open a GetHuman account. Tried several times.
