Good Afternoon Cox Communication,**I have been a customer of your wireless internet and tv services for a month now and I am pleased with their operation. The only issue is the miscommunication and information not provided about the billing charges. Once I began purchasing a Cox Internet Plan I chose the Cox Internet Unlimited plan which informed me of the charges for my internet services plus rental for a mondem. I was then followed up by a page for a cheaper promotion including a the Contour Flex and Internet Ultimate that stated “save $**month.” Prior to continuing my purchase with Cox Communication services I had called and gone into the Cox Solutions Store in Santa Barbara to ask and confirmed that no additional charges were going to be made during my time period of being a customer if I purchased this plan that seemed more convenient. After a month of being a customer of Cox Communications I am receiving charges for a “Broadcast Surchage” that I would have not had if Cox had informed me as the consumer with the proper information to come to a conclusion on my purchase. After calling in for assistance with my bill I am aware that at this Cox Communications may not be capable of making changes to my plan that would otherwise assist me. But as a college student with financial burdens I hope that in the future Cox Communications will do a better job at communicating with their customers about these additional hidden fees before they become a burden to them as well.
