I have been a customer of Consumer Cellular for many years and have gotten many to join. At this time I can no longer recommend you as a provider. your fairly new program to "upgrade" users when they go over their current plan first appears to benefit the customer. and in the initial month it probably does. But, being that most of your customers are seniors who aren't keeping their phones on their hips and who have this bill paid automatically, we are not aware of the overage until many months into paying for services that we not only didn't want buy also don't need and can't afford. There is no way to opt out of this "protection" or prevent unwanted charges unless we spend more time in the internet arena which we don't do or else we would use a different provider. There must be a more customer friendly fair way.
GetHuman-mukiexii did not yet indicate what Consumer Cellular should do to make this right.
