I have been a Comcast customer since Comcast first started in PA. I stayed with the company when they struggled with their internet phone* they were many times when we had no phone service but we persevered and things progressed.**Every winter, I go to Florida for * to * months. I pay my complete bill in PA and my complete bill in Florida…. Very expensive. No one is home in PA so I am paying for nothing there . This year I called at the end of December and asked what could I do to save from paying * complete bills. The agent (check the recording) said I could put my PA service on seasonal for only the cost of modem rental and a service change… about $** a month and then in FL, I could pay the normal bill. I was also told *x that the $** charge to turn on service would be refunded because it was seasonal. I asked again when I saw the charge in my email but was re-assured it would be removed. The internet was supposed to be turned off January * and turned back on April * in PA. We were home January *rd and it was turned off. The agent also made me check with my security company to make sure the *.* MB would be enough to keep my security functioning.**Soon I received * different bills for full coverage in both states. I called PA and asked why. Was told that they do not have season coverage for PA so the internet was never turned off… even though it was off January *rd , the day we flew to FL. I also asked about the $** service charge and was told it would not be removed. When I told this agent my story, she said that it could never happen. “PA is not allowed to have seasonal rates”… why would the first agent say it does? I asked for a text of the phone conversation since we were on a recorded line and was told I would need a court order…. ridiculous ?????**Your agents are not properly trained…. one of them was wrong. If I had known about the $** charge, I would have done the hookup myself. I feel a $** refund is justified. BTW: This all could have been avoided if the PA agent told me right off, “ no seasonal coverage”.
