To Whom it May Concern:*On August **, **** we attempted to make a large purchase at Costco’s using CITI card and contacted customer service prior to the purchase to confirm the credit balance. At that time, we were told that our account was deactivated without notice, even though the account payments are current.*Your total disregard for good customer service was highlighted by the disrespectful way you handled our account. We paid more than the monthly minimum due in addition to putting a monthly automatic payment withdrawal on our bank. Yet CITI chose to use inappropriate tactics to malign our credit and deactivate the account. *We agree with CITI this isn’t the kind of relationship we want to have with a corporation that cares little for their customers by treating customers the way you treat them. We are discontinuing the monthly automatic payment of $*** on our card * xxxx xxxx xxxx **** . Beginning in October **** we will continue to pay the monthly statement amount until the account is paid in full. Please discontinue all solicitation from your company regarding any future cards.*It is unfortunate that COSTCO has their business associated with your card company.
