I previously called because I was being pre-authorization charge of $*.** to a new payment method on my account. This pre-authorization charge was charged * times onto by bank account. The issue was resolved over the phone. However, I did not give consent to cancel my subscription I have with Chegg. My subscription is now cancelled and I am being offered a $**.** fee to resubscribe. I was charg... ... I called this afternoon (around) ** pm about a billing issue that happened to my account. Originally I had two payment methods set up on my Chegg Account. I was charged $**.** on account that I wanted to be billed for. After I was charged to the CORRECT account-I wanted to change my payment method to my second payment method. The person I spoke to said she cancelled the previous method payment. I told the person I spoke to I did not want to cancel my subscription. However, the person I spoke to on the phone cancelled my subscription. I obviously want to have a Chegg Account and I should not have to pay a resubscribe fee being offered $**.** to resubscribe. I DID NOT WANT MY CHEGG ACCOUNT TO BE CANCELLED. I DID NOT GIVE AUTHORIZATION FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. *I want my Chegg account to be re-activated but I should not be re-charged again to resubscribe when I DID NOT GIVE ANY AUTHORIZATIONS for anyone to cancel my subscription. **I need someone to help me out with this.
Why would the person I spoke to cancel my subscription (when I told her I did not want that)? & why am I being offered another charge? When I just paid for January's bill?
Re-subscribing my account at no charge. I enjoy having my Chegg account. It is is very convenient for me. But if this is not resolved for me-I will be moving on to another company (Course Hero).
