I get around in a mobility scooter as I am mobility disabled. I normally travel on airlines in the domestic US by driving my scooter to the gate and then to the entrance to the airplane at the end of the gangway where the baby strollers are also deposited for the baggage people to take to the storage belly of the airplane while I walk the few steps from to my seat in the plane. Some airports in Asia and especially in China and even in Hong Kong when I visited January ****, I found, will not allow me to do that but instead insist that I leave my scooter at the baggage desk while the airport provide a manual wheelchair to bring me to the plane. However, since I am rather obese, my frame cannot fit in the manual wheelchair they provide and it became extremely excruciatingly painful for me, if at all possible, to comply with. I know that American airlines such as American AND United would not give me that problem but will provide a rep that will escort me to the gate and take me through all the checkpoints that may give me trouble otherwise. I will like to know, given your airline's great reputation for service in the industry, if you can also guarantee me no such problems when I travel on your flights from Las Vegas to Hong Kong this April*May?
