Hello. I live in Denver, Colorado. I applied online for credit to purchase a **** MKZ Lincoln with your company. I was approved by Capital One based on my income, my credit score at the time and a down payment of $*,***. A few days later, my credit score dropped by ** points because of the * credit inquiries by the potential lenders. I figured this to be temporary and sought to resolve it with my Experian. A week later, I was told the person who submitted my application put down the wrong address, so I was told we would have to submit my application AGAIN. I was hesitant because I didn't want another hit on my credit score. The service person told me there is a ** day window so, It shouldn't be a problem. Even more, he told me that I actually make more money that what I submitted based on my bank record and he wanted to submit a higher amount. We submitted again and Capital One came back and said I NOW had to put down $*,*** instead of $*,***. This same service person told me we should submitted it one more time at my original income. We did, and Capital One STILL said I now had to put down $*,***. Even more, despite what the service person said, my credit score went down again. I cannot tell you how long it took me to get my credit score up. It has been a hard, arduous task. To have it dropped because a staffer wrote down the wrong address, causing me to resubmit my application is incredibly difficult. So, at this point, I have to pay almost twice as much for my down payment (which I cannot afford) and have my credit score drop as well. Me and my wife had be building up to my score to buy a home and thought adding the financing of a car would boost my score, not destroy it. I would like your company to cover the down payment and provide a tune up for the car while I channel my resources into fixing this credit disaster. We were hoping to purchase the home by June so I must work quickly to fix this.
