-Beginning November *st when I attempt to login to Capital One credit cards site, I'm told that "We noticed something different about this sign in To provide you with the best protection, choose a *-Step Verification method to verify your identity."** - I'm presented with a screen offering to send a code via sms to my phone. I chose this option. ** - I enter code: It is accepted "We're taking you to your accounts"** - "Our security checks require you to create a new password.*Do not reuse passwords used on other sites.*Please create a new password using the form found below."** - I have created at least * NEW passwords since yesterday, while on the phone with Capital One Support. *When I create the passwords, I have tried using only alphanumeric (a-z, A-Z, *** etc) and my usual way - alphanumeric mixed case with special characters (the few allowed... ). ** - this is in addition to spending an hour on the phone **** doing the same.**- Each new password results in:*"We noticed something different about this sign in To provide you with the best protection, choose a *-Step Verification method to verify your identity." continuing at step * this repeats infinitely...*FYI - this is with Chrome **.x.x And with I.E. ****How to fix: *Correct the issue so that I do not have to change my password with each login.
