I enrolled in the ** month DUI class for second offenders, have gotten sr** insurance and went to the dmv twice for my restricted liscence before they told me that I was required to get an interlock installed in my car. I set up the account for the interlock, had it shipped to my local dealership, and they said I needed some car work before installation, which I now have had done. The dealership said the needed a new labor issue from the interlock company. I called them to set the new appointment, and they now say that I am apparently ineligible to have an interlock until I complete ** months of the DOJ program... which NO ONE has told me in this entire time. My DUI program is ** miles from home. I have to set time aside from work to take the bus, and ask my family for rides when they CAN... for ** more months? I very much hope that there is some kind of compromise to make here, because I can't have to rely on other people in order to make this better, I work, my family works, this is seeming nearly impossible to manage, I've been trying to be able to drive myself again for so many months already, and why is this not on a first-to-know standard? I very much hope that something can be worked out here, at least if you can consider my situation. Thank you
