I purchased a car with California plates from Angelo Gillespie in Las Vegas. Despite charging me for tax and license, he hasn't provided the title despite numerous texts and unhelpful phone calls. Angelo claims to be in the car business and assured he'd handle everything. Feeling threatened by his behavior and lack of response to my attorney's demand letter, I, as a senior citizen, seek help as I have been taken advantage of by Angelo Gillespie. He alleges owing money for plates and taxes and used my fees for his own purposes. I seek assistance in getting the title or having him face legal action. His behavior indicates possible tax fraud and selling cars with expired plates. I believe he may be involved in illegal activities and am reaching out for support. Thank you.

I have received parking tickets (10/23 and 12/18) from the City of Redondo Beach for a vehicle with the VIN JKAKLEA16JA009375 and the license plate HMD03. I reside and work in Arizona and previously owned a Kawasaki with the listed VIN, which I sold to a friend in [redacted]. The motorcycle has been in Arizona in my friend's possession since June [redacted]. Despite my efforts to clarify the situation with the Redondo Beach Citation Processing Center and the police, the issue persists. The Arizona DMV confirmed the VIN is not registered to me, and the title was transferred years ago. My friend provided proof of the current Arizona registration, VIN, and license plate (GMCD3T). This situation is concerning as the VIN is still linked to me in California's records, and there seems to be a Ford vehicle in California using the same license plate as my previous motorcycle. I am willing to provide evidence of the citations and current registration for resolution. Thank you, --B. Cox

Hello, I have a query regarding my Vehicle Registration. The renewal date is drawing near, but I have not received the letter from the DMV yet. Consequently, I proceeded to pay the fee directly on the website. Upon completion of the payment, the website indicated that my renewal was not finished and a notice would be sent within 2 weeks. However, I am concerned about potentially not receiving this notice again. Could you please assist in confirming the mailing address for the notice? Furthermore, I am worried about not receiving the renewal stickers from the DMV before the expiry date. Additionally, I moved six months ago and notified the DMV of my change of address. I am unsure if my current address has been updated by the DMV. Would you kindly help in verifying the aforementioned queries? Thank you. I am seeking information to help me regain my license after not having it for approximately 10 to 15 years. I recall being informed about the need to attend a school regarding a case from over 10 years ago; however, I am unsure if that is still necessary. I used to transport cars for a dealer in Oceanside who assured me it was fine to drive despite my license situation. Unfortunately, I ended up in a minor fender-bender, leading to a citation for driving with a suspended license of which I was unaware. Can you guide me on the process to reinstate my license? Thank you.

In [redacted], I received a DUI in California and later moved to North Dakota in [redacted]. In [redacted], I submitted paperwork to the mandatory actions unit to transfer my license to North Dakota. After completing all required procedures and paying necessary fines, I obtained a North Dakota license. Years later, Riverside Superior Court contacted me claiming unpaid fines related to the DUI. Despite contacting the mandatory actions unit multiple times, I received conflicting information. Initially, I was told all issues were resolved to release my license, while later I was informed the fines should have been paid separately. Unfortunately, I no longer have proof of payment due to the closure of the bank branch I used at the time. Recently, San Bernardino county also alleged outstanding fines, but a collection agency confirmed the payment. Lacking the means to travel to California for court, I seek clarification from the mandatory actions unit, as I disposed of paperwork assuming all matters were settled post-[redacted], only to be unexpectedly contacted by Riverside in [redacted]. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'm Jimmy Thompson stationed in Okinawa, Japan with the USAF. I'm bringing back my [redacted] Nissan Skyline GTR to California under the 25-year import rule. I've encountered an issue regarding making the car California Legal due to the strict regulations. According to the California DMV website, vehicles not originally manufactured to meet CARB and EPA emission requirements face challenges in registration, unless the owner meets specific exemptions. As a resident of Japan since March [redacted], owning the car since May [redacted], I hope to qualify for an exemption due to my active military duty. Despite the car being over 25 years old, I anticipate hurdles meeting CARB standards, which seem to be the most challenging. I aim to navigate these requirements before being stationed in California in the coming months.

Hello, my name is Jonathan P. My California driver's license number is F[redacted]. I received a DUI in January [redacted] in California. Currently stationed in South Dakota, I want to obtain my driver's license there. However, my record shows it's revoked, preventing me from obtaining a South Dakota license. I completed an online DUI course with Tom Wilson Counseling and received Military Diversion through San Luis Obispo Superior Court. I do not intend to reinstate my California license. I'm seeking advice on how to remove this obstruction from my record so I can get a South Dakota license. I've attempted to contact the Mandatory Actions Center by phone without success.

In [redacted], I received a second DUI, completed the required fines, work release, and court obligations. Although I participated in a year of weekly DUI classes, I missed the final three sessions, leading to an incomplete status. Currently, in 2[redacted], I am halfway through another round of DUI classes and seeking to reinstate my driver's license. Despite the original suspension period being three years, I have now been without a license for 17 years and am receiving driving on a suspended license tickets. It appears unjust that after this prolonged period and regular attendance at my current DUI classes, I am still unable to obtain a license. My details are Joseph L., with ID A[redacted].

I recently received a DUI while parked in my car changing a flat tire. The medication I was on was prescribed but still considered a controlled narcotic. This is my second offense, with the previous one being over 9.5 years ago. Despite completing my sentence and an inpatient program, I am now seeking a restricted driver's license. Conflicting advice from technicians at the DMV has left me uncertain about the requirements. I was initially told I needed to submit various forms including a DUI program completion proof, but then another technician stated I must complete 12 out of the 18 months of my current program. I am eager to regain my driving privileges for employment and personal responsibilities. Your guidance on the correct steps to take would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Robert Wesley Parfitt (D.L. # D[redacted]) / (D.O.B. 08/31/[redacted]) Please feel free to contact me at [redacted]/[redacted] for any further details.

My California driver's license has been suspended due to unpaid traffic ticket fines, leading to my recent arrest for failure to appear in court. I ended up spending a night in jail before my court appearance the next day, where the offense was reduced to an infraction, but I'm still required to pay the fine. I've already paid one ticket for $[redacted], but I still owe $[redacted] for another ticket and the recent one I got arrested for, totaling around $2,[redacted]. I find it challenging to pay off this amount promptly, and my current work situation is affected by the suspended license. I am looking into setting up a payment plan to address the fines and lift the suspension on my license, as I rely on it to commute to work.

My California driver's license was suspended due to unpaid traffic ticket fines, leading to my recent arrest for failure to appear in court. I was not aware of the warrant as I couldn't locate my court date on the ticket or online. After spending a night in jail, the court reduced the offense to an infraction but I still need to pay fines. I have recently paid one ticket but still owe money for two tickets and cannot afford the total of around $1,[redacted]. With my license suspended, I cannot work. I am seeking to arrange a payment plan for the tickets and have my license reinstated promptly to resume work.

I recently received a notice regarding a stored vehicle ([redacted]) for a vehicle I never owned. Shortly after, I got another notice about a pending lien sale ([redacted]), seq# [redacted] ref#[redacted]. I am confused as to why these notifications are being sent to me as I have no connection to the listed registered owner, Girard Joy K, at [redacted] Eagle Flight Dr, Simi Valley CA [redacted]. I was out of town working when this incident occurred so I couldn't address it promptly. I have already contacted the towing and CHP to clarify this mistake. I attempted to fill out the release of liability form but it requires details about the vehicle's mileage and sale amount, which I do not have as I never sold or purchased a Ford Focus. I would appreciate a quick resolution to this matter. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently received notification regarding a stored vehicle with the reference number [redacted], and shortly after, a pending lien sale notice with reference [redacted]-[redacted]. The previous owner's details show as Girard Joy K at Eagle Flight Drive in Simi Valley, CA. I have no connections to that area and am unfamiliar with this individual. As I was away working, I missed these notices until recently. Upon contacting the towing and CHP, I've clarified that the vehicle doesn't belong to me. I attempted to complete the release of liability form, but it requests mileage and sale amount for a Ford Focus, a vehicle I haven't purchased or sold. I'm unsure of the next steps to take. For prompt resolution, kindly reach me at my cell number: [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently received a notice for a stored vehicle ([redacted]) that I never owned. Shortly after, I got a pending lien sale notice ([redacted]) related to the same vehicle, referencing ***********. The documents contain the information of a registered owner named Girard Joy K. at Eagle Flight Drive, Simi Valley, CA. I do not have any connections with that person or that area. As I was away for work during this time, I only recently became aware of this situation. I have informed the towing company and the CHP that it's not my vehicle and there seems to be an error. I tried to complete the release of liability form, but I am unsure of the vehicle's mileage or selling amount since I did not buy or sell a Ford Focus. I am uncertain about the next steps to take. If possible, please reach out to me at ***-***-**** to help me resolve this matter promptly. Thank you.

I am concerned about an error on my driving record. I provided the DMV with the correct documentation in person to address this issue regarding my driver's license. A representative at one of your locations confirmed over the phone that my driving record was clean and that I only needed to attend traffic school to avoid getting a point. However, I have now received a letter about a violation, which is confusing as I have followed all DMV regulations and made the necessary payments. I am a long-time AAA driver and need my license for work, so it is crucial to resolve this discrepancy. If needed, I can provide copies of all the documents that prove I took care of this matter. Thank you for looking into this. My name is Allan, and you can contact me at [redacted]. I also have a concern about the Department of Motor Vehicles releasing confidential information to an attorney without my consent.

Hello, I am seeking guidance on expunging a record to secure employment at USPS. Despite completing a recent traffic school program to clear my record, only the points were removed, not the violation description. I have taken the necessary exam for the job and now require a clear background check for an interview. A car accident record seems to be the issue flagged by GIS employment background check agency. GIS explained that the traffic school clears points, not the violation description. Feeling disheartened, I'm determined to find a solution to achieve my goal of working at USPS. After researching, I am reaching out to the Mandatory Actions unit for assistance on expunging the record. Securing employment at USPS is crucial for me and my family's well-being. I sincerely appreciate any help and support you can provide. Thank you, Joong Kim (Jay)

I recently sent an application and payment to the California Department of Motor Vehicles corporate office in Sacramento for a replacement registration card and stickers. This was to address a citation issue when I was pulled over because I hadn't received the new documents despite renewing in July. I called last week and was informed that it could take up to 4 weeks for the replacements to arrive by mail. As this wait time exceeded my needs due to the citation deadline, I had to visit the DMV in Davis to get the necessary replacements immediately. I now need assistance canceling the previous mail application and payment to avoid being charged twice. Despite multiple attempts, I haven't been able to reach the California DMV corporate office at [redacted]. Can you please advise on how to proceed with canceling the application? Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Heather A.

I noticed on my DMV record that it shows my license was suspended from February 7, [redacted], to April 19, [redacted], for 2 months. This information is inaccurate and I want to clarify that my license has never been suspended. I have always abided by the law and been in compliance with both the DMV and the court. Can you please rectify this error on my record and update the code accordingly? I require a letter from the DMV confirming that this was a mistake or has been corrected, which I can provide to my car insurance company to clear my record for insurance purposes and to maintain my good driver standing. My Driver's License number is C[redacted], registered under Bernita L. Washington. Thank you.

I have been without a driver's license for 11 years now. During these years, I faced multiple suspensions due to not completing the required classes. I paid off the fines and attended the classes, but issues with documentation and class attendance arose. I have most of the paperwork and signatures proving my completion, which should have resulted in a 3-month suspension instead of 18. The DUI error also extended the suspension period. Even though I haven't been caught driving, I feel stuck and need my license back to move forward in my life.

Hello, I am from Belgium, please excuse any language mistakes. We purchased a vehicle from a salesman in the Netherlands. The car, a Morris Minor, was registered in Sausalito in [redacted] with the VIN number: 67MAT5DL[redacted]. Unfortunately, the original title was stolen by the salesman. We have an official police report from the Netherlands regarding the loss of the title. The D.I.V. in Belgium is requesting the foreign registration certificate, which is missing. They mentioned that without this document or a duplicate, registration will not be possible. I have a copy of the title and shipping papers. Can you please respond to my email so I can send you the necessary documents to support our request?
