I arrived for flight BA**** to Amsterdam at the British Airways counter at the international terminal at Hartsfield Jackson airport in Atlanta, Georgia. I received instruction via email to go to the international terminal when I attempted to check in online prior to arriving at the airport. Once I got there, there was no representative for British Airways on duty yet but a gentleman with another airline advise me to go back to the domestic terminal to speak with American Airlines. By the time I made it via shuttle back to the domestic, I had missed boarding, subsequently my flight. I am desperately asking for a courtesy refund so that I may purchase a new flight Or perhaps offer a new discounted ticket through British Airways. *This is the only way I will be able to make it to my destination to handle my grandmothers estate affairs who recently passed away.
