When I arrived at the Loganda Karoo Lodge in Touwsriver they did not know about my reservation and said that Booking.com didn't communicate with them and that they are fully booked. I booked a double room, received a booking confirmation and was impressed with the good communication via e-mail. When I arrived in Touwsriver I was exhausted as I had travelled very long distance (** hour drive) from Augrabies in the Northern Cape. and after an hours wait the gave me a room that a truckdriver was supposed to sleep for the night. I was very upset for this inconvenience and to stay in this room for a week is unacceptable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but if they do not have any available rooms they can't do anything. They even gave me discount, but R*** does not solve the problem, I am stuck in this small room without a shower for the week. *I feel that there must be better communication to ensure that this do not happen ever again. **This incident will make that I will never use Booking.com ever again and will definitely not recommend it to anybody.
