I purchased a new Audi Q* on May **, ****. To say that I have been disappointed in its quality is an understatement. The first occurrence happened on July *, **** while leaving the Memphis Airport in a heavy rain and the Electrical System Malfunction light comes on and beeping warning signals. I continue to drive on Interstate and while driving the AIr Conditioning shuts down, radio goes out, car loses all power and coast to a complete stop and out of my control. This was an extremely dangerous situation. I called Audi Roadside and while explaining the issue with them, I restarted the car and seemingly operates normally. I drive for about ** miles and the Electrical System Malfunction Light and warning beeps comes on again. I pull off and call my Audi Salesperson to see if she has ever heard of this issue happening which she had not. She had me turn the vehicle settings to Basic which turned the beeping off and the Electrical System Malfunction light off. Next episode occurs on July ** while traveling in Alabama. The Electrical System Malfunction Light and Beeping starts again and this time I call Audi Roadside to come get the vehicle as I was not going to take the chance of being put into another dangerous situation. They take the vehicle to Audi Birmingham where it is diagnosed as needing a new Alternator which they had to order from Germany. They indicated that the issue was fixed so my wife travels to Birmingham from our residence in Mississippi to pick up the car. She drives it a couple miles from Audi Birmingham and the Electrical System Malfunction Light comes on again. Audi Birmingham comes to get the car from my wife at hotel on August *st. They tell us that they need to order another Alternator from Germany as well as a high voltage battery. This was done and I went back to Birmingham to get the car August *. The Electrical System Malfunction Light has not come back on since this most recent repair, however I get sensor warning signals everytime the car is subjected to rain or car wash. About two weeks ago the engine fan motor has started to run constantly and very loud (sounding as if it is about to explode). Just last week, I get the engine symbol indicated there is an issue now with the Catalytic Converter issue and get to dealership for service. Also, last week AIr pressure warning lights have come on and tire pressures are normal. As soon as I have an alternative vehicle to drive, I will contact Audi Roadside to come and get the car for the current issues. Unfortunately, I live over an hour from the nearest Audi Dealership (Memphis, TN) and do not feel safe traveling in the vehicle that distance.To pay $**,*** for this car and have all these issues is not right and I want Audi to replace this vehicle or reimburse me for my purchase. If we cannot get this accomplished amicably, I will seek other means to resolve with Audi. Please contact me with a proposed resolution. I can be reached at (***) ***-**** and *****@***.com.
