The issue in GetHuman-phyllisq's own words
I made an order through ASOS for a parcel that said it was to be 'Delivered on or before Thursday ** April ****'. It would seem that this is not happening, as My Hermes, whom I had to contact personally, have said it would take at least another day for them to process. I have attempted to contact ASOS, who have said that this 'is out of *your* hands', that you cannot contact My Hermes directly, and that this was in your contract with My Hermes. It is absolutely rubbish that you can't seem to contact them about these things as you are still liable and legally responsible for the order you promised to get to me by today. Can someone please rectify this by ensuring my parcel, which has been sitting at their hub since *.**am this morning, is delivered by ** midnight tonight? I need to receive this parcel by today as I shall be out of the country after this. I'm not requesting for this order to be returned as these are simple items of clothing that will be of use, but I certainly would not have ordered this (whether from ASOS, or at all) if I had known I would not receive it on time. I have been relying on this delivery and now you have disappointed me.
