On the *th of May I put a very dissatisfied review for American Home Shield on consumer affair and bbb about our A*C unit that they put in August **** and it worked one summer and this year we turned it on and it didn’t come on. We called AHS they sent a company and they said that the company that put the A*C unit in jigger- rigged it together and didn’t put a sensor in. They said it was messed up work. So they called AHS and told them and then they called us and told us that AHS is not covering the whole repair only $*** and we have to pay around $****. Really for a brand new unit that only worked * summer? So I put a one star review on consumer affaires and a couple days later a Mr. Scott Robert from AHS sent me a e-mail that he would like to get the problem solved. He called back on Monday, after I told him the situation and said that AHS would cover everything. ( we have a home warranty because we have no clue how to fix stuff and we trust the company to do it right. No new unit breaks down after * summer if it’s done right). So a few days later we called the air conditioner company to see if they have the go on the repair and they heard nothing about it. Then I called AHS (it takes for ever to get to anyone) and they didn’t know anything about the repair being covered so I asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for ** min. and then got disconnected. The next time no supervisor was available and she would call me back. Nothing no call. I did that for * days. I tried to e-mail Mr. Robert through the consumer affair respond but as of today **th of May no response. We’ve been customers for over ** years and never had a problem but this is not acceptable and very unprofessional. There is nowhere (and I spend hours searching and calling different numbers) where I can reach anyone else then the calling center. No customer service. My next step is for legal advice because we already have **F weather and had to buy a window unit (that really doesn’t help much in other rooms) and are out of $*** for that. So please I need answered. *Thank you Wesley Robinson
AHS needs to cover the whole cost
We have been with AHS for over ** years.
Tried every phone number I could find on line and wrote every one I could think of.
