Hi, *I would like a claim reviewed due to the circumstances that I was in last night. This was after hours around * PM on March **, ****. I called AHS and opened a repair ticket for a leak on the phone, But since it did not allow me to place an expedited urgent repair note I called customer service at AHS. The gentleman I talk to called the company that was dispatched in Riverside California and since it was after hours no one answered. He said that since it’s after hours he will need a dispatch team to look for possible plumbers available and that I need to give the dispatch team for hours time which was basically from * PM to ** PM for them to find me a plumber that could come out the same night. And he could not authorize an outside agent until four hours of dispatch was done. Due to the urgency of the matter and my drywall affected by all the water being sprayed at a very fast rate and the fact that the water had been leaking for a while I I did not want to wait any longer specially since some of the companies and the customer service agent mentioned were in San Diego California, Which is at least an hour away from my home. The main water to the house Had been off due to the leak since * PM and we were all without water since then. Due to all of the above circumstances and the fact that I have to work at a hospital and be there at * AM, I decided to use a plumber that is a certified, licensed, bonded and insured locally to fix the leak the same night. He came at * PM and finished the work by ** PM. He diagnosed the leak coming from the pressure regulator and installed a new pressure regulator and charged me $*** for labor and parts. I have receipts and pictures of the leak if needed. I do not believe that I could have done anything else at that point. I had to take care of the leak immediately. I strongly believe that an outside authorization should have been given to me by the customer service or dispatch team. I do not believe that I should have to wait * plus hours for them to come out to diagnose and to repair something urgent like this and for us to be without water for so long. Even if they were able to find the part in the middle of the night. *I believe that I should get reimbursed for this claim and can provide you with receipts and anything needed to prove that it is legitimate.
