I have been trying to receive the package the Amazon delivery driver inadvertently gave to a total stranger. ... The Amazon delivery driver delivered my package to an unknown neighbor, this is clearly stated on my delivery notice when I look it up on my email. This occurred on April ****** my tracking number was as follows TBA************. I lost **.**I believe in total on this clock and an additional sum on the ASURION insurance package I purchased for it. My email name is *****@***.com and the original Amazon order number was ***-*******-*******. I would expect full restitution since it was your driver's mistake by handing the package to a total stranger and not delivering it to my door. I am home ****, I have never missed a UPS package, they have always knocked on my door and left the package there or handed directly to me or someone in my home.*Joseph W Zinn
This has been exceptionally frustrating because I order a considerable amount online and from Amazon. Most of it they ship UPS, UPS knocks on my door and leaves the package on my doorstep. I have never missed a package yet, that is until April *th **** when their driver, yes a prime delivery driver gave my package to a total stranger instead of knocking at my door. I am home **** and would have received that package if he would not have been so lazy as to just hand it off to the first person he saw in this apartment complex.
Resolution is very easy I simply want my money returned but not only for the clock but also for the asurion insurance plan I purchased for the clock.
I have been an Amazon customer for at least * to * years and a prime member for at least two years if not three. In this time I have ordered a considerable amount of products from Amazon and this is the first time anything went missing. I have had items that I've had to return and that always went smoothly, I have always counted on them and they have always been dependable because of UPS but now I have my druthers.
I have tried to contact them through human and their customer service phone number which is no longer in operation and I have searched for their email which I cannot locate. On ********* I will contact my bank which is Chase Manhattan and have them remove the charges from my account. Without question, this is a theft of my personal property and I will not be stuck with the charges.
