The issue in GetHuman-vsijj's own words
I was logged in at Amazon...put an item in my cart and proceeded to check-out. I get the "sign-in" pop up, which I filled in with credentials provided by my password manager. (Bitwarden) Amazon responds..."Incorrect password". I also use a second password manager (LastPass), so I used it to fill in this second demand for my credentials. Same "incorrect password" message. *So, I used a different browser and it works. So you are going to say, "well it's the browser then"...nope, I used that same browser previously to successfully place an order on *****'**.*This is nonsense...I was logged in when I went to check out, so Amazon knew who I was at that moment. Then the verification popup declares "wrong password". That makes Amazon look like a fool...and makes me feel like eBay is now less hassle. (or has Amazon acquired eBay too?)*I did not receive a message from Amazon saying that a code would be emailed to me to insert for verification of my identity. But then later (much later) code(s) began arriving at my email address. *Wes
