I have an Amazon account in Uk and Australia as I stay in both countries often - my daughters are in Sydney and sister in UK. I live in South Africa. My husband bought an Amazon Alexa Echo Plus back to South Africa from UK and then bought * Echo Dots here in SA. I bought a number of items in UK recently and have bought in Australia. before. When I am back in South Africa we cannot set up one of the Echo Dots to my name but my husband has no trouble. It tells me I am not connected to the *amazon Music Marketplace. I have had to connect on my husband's account. I tried to buy an ebook for kindle via Amazon today and I receive an email that there is a problem with my card which I just used in UK recently. I went onto my Amazon account and the details of my card are correct. I can use another card but having recently used this one why is it an issue? My husband tried to get me connected to one of the echo dots but it always says I am not connected to the music marketplace. My question is would having one account being used in three countries and various addesses cause an issue for connecting to Amazon Alexa in Johannesburg. Must I just sign up and get a subscription and see if it then works and I can connect to the music marketplace - and what is the issue with my card which i used successfully several times two months ago in the UK. You do give the option for delivering to alternate address which I did in UK so I do not think that should cause the problem. I hope in Sydney in December I can order again from Amazon as postal services in South Africa are rife with theft. So *) is my non connection to the Amazon music marketplace due to not having paid for a subscription. I am happy to do that and was offered a prime account in UK *) why is my card not accepted from South Africa when it was used for a number of purchases recently in Uk and *) is having three world locations on my account perhaps a problem? thank you Sue Johnston
