On July **th We travelled on flight AC*** and had engine problems. ok that happens but the organisation from air canada was non existant. not much information, left in plane for * hrs then told not going anywhere from then on sheer bedlam.Not enough directions or staff to handle things mothers and children left waiting around should have been attended to first. * of us had to wait for our luggage as it was forwarded on to NZ but we still had to wait and collect it . Then told shuttles were * mins apart not so half hr apart *am last passengers left the Airport. We were told *am report at the airport for our new flight information others were told *am. then we were told depart at *.**am Ok fine but once again we found navigational problems. sit in plane for another *.*** hrs before take off. At last Brisbane only to find staying over night as no more flights that night . Fine stay at hotel Ok chits for meals fine only to find $**.** for dinner cheapest meal at hotel $** Bkfast $** each cheapest bk*fast $**. Plus for us four overseas phone calls to NZ to stop people collecting us from Auckland that we were not arriving at said time. All in all it has cost us a fortune . Not only that but on our arrival in Calgary we found one of our suitcases had its wheels sheered off on one side. couldn't do anything at the time because of time constraints. We just feel horribly let down by your airline and as we are pensioners would like to see an improvement in your accountability for your passengers which at the moment is abhorrent.
