Hi I am in Dublin right now but heading to the country. Mostly I will have email - shown below so you can contact me there. Booking reference is KRYM*Z. The flight from Vancouver to Toronto was uneventful and enjoyable - however when we arrived in Toronto on flight AAC**** and were directed to our gate to fly to Dublin AC**** we discovered our flight had been cancelled. We were given a voucher to stay at The Crown Plaza hotel and that is where the nightmare began. After standing in a line up in the hotel for over an hour (two very slow and unapologetic reception clerks* finally gave us our room. We could not get food our drink (and there was not even water in the water stations in the lobb y where we were waiting. Clerk took my husbands credit card and we still see $*** sitting on our account. Early shuttle back to airport - spent time in Maple Leaf Lounge so were at least able to have a shower before we put back on our clothes that we had now been in for two days. Of course food vouchers were useless cause of situation at Crown Plaza. We left then on flight AC **** and again had a pleasant flight to Dublin. Now I realize that some things are out of our control but the first three days of our holiday left us exhausted and missing a full day in Dublin. Just checking our return flights. First of all what lounge can we go to in Dublin as I don't see a Maple Leaf Lounge --upgrade to signature???*Also just observed that we have an * hour layover in toronto on our return AC*** Dublin to Toronto and AC*** Toronto - Vancouver - looks like we will finish our holiday even more exhausted that we started it. So my request is that you get us on an earlier flight out of Toronto. And let me know asap what you can do. And please don't ever put people up at the Crown Plaza Airport hotel at Toronto Airport again - it was a total gongshow and absolutely no management to bring on extra staff - or do whatever was required to make it feasible. Thanks for helping us out with all of this.
