Hi*I had a booking Dublin-Heathrow London **th Aug ****(Thursday),and change the date onlineAerLigus to !*th Aug and my Mastercard was charged *** euro plus instead of just ** euro plus.Idid not ask for any eextra servic!e*This looks like a computer mistake .

Hi again I checked with Mastercard and discovered that my complaint had no substance ,I had thought that my deducted payment arising from cancelling one flight Dublin to London and changing to a flight * days later for the same route had not reimbursed me for the cancelled flight.I had been under pressure to complete the new booking and knew the sum indicated for me to pay was far too much .I realized after reading the Aer Lingus summary of my payments that the final indicated sum was in fact the the sum total that had been incurred under the flight code which had remained the same for both flights (original cancelled on and also the new substitute flight).When I pressed the payment key all I had was a list of the itemised services for both flights but nothing to indicate what was to be deducted from my card.** hours later and next morningI (Mastercard services are not on a ** hour basis) I learnt from the records that I had not been charged the sum indicated and that I saw written in front of me but just for the the new flight.This could have been avoided if the Aer Lingus staff member I had phone immediatelty after the booking hhad informed me of that likelihood.All is well that ends well,so the saying goes but......
