Ok, this gets complicated REAL quick... and I have ALL the details AND documentation, too. I have an '** Dodge Grand Caravan SXL that needs an EGR valve... so, I got on your site and was HIT with a **% off on-line discount... that was GOOD and THEN, it sort of went downhill after, that ? I typed in my vehicle description and the part I needed and it came UP with a few options. My good friend, a certified Dodge mechanic, told me the part number I needed... ***-***, the electric one ( NOT the vacuum line model ) and the site had one, a Dorman OC Solutions, model ***-*** and IT came with a "limited lifetime replacement" for $**.** AND with the **% discount it would be $**.**. So, I clicked "Add to cart" and I went to pay for it and I filled out the form, but when it got down to the payment area nothing was*"highlighted" and it wouldn't take ANY information, so, I HAD to call your customer service * and I spoke to a very nice man, Marvin, ( Ref.******* ), who was very helpful ( I wrote a great review about my "experience" with him ) and he said there was a problem with the site and he ALSO, said that part ****-*** was NO longer in stock and said the manufacturer was no longer MAKING that part, which, HE thought was rather, strange ? At THAT point, he could tell I was a little "upset" and he said, "Let me see what I can do." and he bumped me UP to the next Dorman model B********** for $***, BUT it only, had a "** day replacement if defective" warrantee, which, "I" thought was strange... why would the CHEAPER one have a better warrantee than, the MORE expensive model ? ? ? At THAT price, he could tell I was a little upset, again and then, he said he could "cut it down a bit" and he ALSO, offered me an additional *% off, making my total discount **% AND he added the * day shipping and after, "confirming" with a technician that it was, in fact, an electric model, I purchased the item and * days, later ( not counting Sunday ), I received it on *** *****. I worked in a S&R Department, before and after, looking at the paperwork... even, "I" was confused... on several different levels, as, it sent UP "red flags" of NON-conformance ? So, I checked with my Dodge friend and he confirmed that, it is in FACT, the original part ****-*** ( for $**.** WITH the * "limited lifetime replacement ), as, its ALSO, stated on the part box, ITSELF and there's a *nd label attached and IT reads, "*******AB, however, on the Packing Slip the part * is the same, BUT on the Conformation Shipping email you sent me ( ********* ) IT says the part * is "B**********DOR", which, was $***.** ? ? ? So, according to YOUR "records", I received part ***********DOR, which, sold for $***.**... MINUS the **% discount AND also, what Marvin "cut it down" to of $**.** and my final cost being $**.**... when in FACT, its the part I originally, wanted for $**.**... ( WITH the "limited lifetime replacement"... that I was told was out of stock ? ) but was sent with the WRONG billing documentation... ( for a part that I did NOT receive... with a bad warrantee ) ? Now, since, it IS the original part I wanted in the *st place ( even, with the **% discount it comes to $**.** and I guess Marvin can "cut it down" the extra $*.** to what I paid for of $**.** ) and it IS bought and paid for... what I would like from YOU is the correct documentation that it IS part ****-***... WITH the corrected "limited lifetime replacement" and NOT the "** days if defective".*I hope "more details" IS better ? Thank you...
